In 1995, Drs. Stephen F. Davis and Michael Wertheimer set out to conduct 45 in-depth interviews with significant and historic leaders of Psi Chi such as Ruth Hubbard Cousins, E. Louise H. Porter, Florence L. Denmark, and Slater E. Newman. The final hardbound book was published in 2000 as a behind-the-scenes exploration of how Psi Chi and its members shaped and supported one another.
On the book’s 20th anniversary, we are excited to re-release this fascinating piece of Psi Chi history in digital PDF format. Unlock the first 65 years of Psi Chi through the experiences and memories of those who helped transform the Society into the Professional Organization as we know it today. A nine-page illustrated Introduction by Drs. John D. Hogan and Virginia S. Sexton is also included about Psi Chi’s establishment and incredible growth.
The price is $4.95 for members (member id required) and $19.95 for nonmembers.
